1. Rex Vicat Cole
This artist is interesting and inspires me because of his style and its overall realism. Rex is a landscape artist that links to my drawing that I have done in coordination with my studio and show work. he links because his work is all landscapes, I have chosen to use the drawing of a tree instead of a landscape because a lot of his full landscape pieces are in paint whereas his smaller pieces such as the tree and acorn pieces in graphite pencil. I like this and their works well on building my research because it allows me to focus on the little bit of landscapes in more detail and I have chosen to do a tree because they seem to be very prominent in most landscape and will help to have practice for my project altogether.

2. Diego Fazio
Diego Fazio is a inspirational portrait artist and one that I liked in particular when look at art and artist, for my portrait artists. I love his work simply because of how truly realistic they look, they look as though they are photographs. Another reason I like this artist in particular is because he is also a graphic pencil artist. I looked into graphite pencil artists because not only do I like the black and white but it is also somewhat start from since I am you to portraits. I really like his art overall and as a graphite portrait this is what I would aspire for realism.

3. Pablo Picasso
Pablo Picasso is another artist that inspired me when doing this unit not only for cubism but also collage and portraits. His portraits although something I wouldn’t do just yet, I find it fascinating and I found it important to look at coloured paintings not just and black and white. His portraits are interesting and a lot are lots of different styles which I find interesting because a lot of portrait artist I have looked at work in one style only, but most of his are different. His cubism and collage is another aspect of his work I looked at for another project in this module. His work and art kept coming up, he was one of my biggest influences in my units simply because his work allowed research due to having lots of different styles.

4. CJ Hendry (Catherine Jenna Hendry)
CJ Hendry, Catherine Jenna Hendry, is a contemporary artist that is amazing at her art. She is a Australian artist known for her hyper-realistic, large scale drawings of objects using a self-developed scribbling technique. Not only is she using her own technique that works for her but her art is truly unique and realistic. Her art inspires me as an artist and would be something I would love to achieve. Her work inspired me partially in the close up detailed project.

5. Mazlan Jamali
The next artist is one that is not really known and I only found him by chance when looking for artist that draw textures in order to help me with my art overall and the tree bark drawings. Mazlan Jamali draws a tree but what I find fascinating is how the simple scratches of the drawing make the are pieces appear so realist as well as lively. Another this I like about his art is how full and sort of chaotic his art is, too me there is so much to look at. I really like his art and find the two pieces he has done interesting.
